He is worth more than £1bn

A Nottinghamshire industrialist has been named on the Sunday Times' Rich List for 2023, with a net worth of more than £1 billion. Tony Langley is the owner of engineering group, Langley Holdings, and has placed 129th on the list, with a worth of around £1.35 billion.A total of 5,400 employees work for the group, which has 18 manufacturing sites. It is split into three divisions, which are power solutions, print technologies and other industrials.

The Sunday Times Rich List is an annual roundup of the 350 richest people in the UK, with Gopi Hinduja and family, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Leonard Blavatnik taking the top three spots. Mike Ashley also made the list as the 58 year old founder of Sports Direct, which is based in Shirebrook, across the Nottinghamshire border, was found to have a net worth of £3.84 billion
