Police have released a statement
Police were called to a home in Mansfield following reports of a sudden death. The emergency services were called to Ladybrook Lane just before 12midnight on Sunday, August 27.
It was found that a man had suddenly died at the address. The incident is not thought to be suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner's service in Nottinghamshire, a spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police confirmed. A nearby resident said the area was taped off, and somebody was taken away in what appeared to be a private ambulance. A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: “Emergency services responded to a man’s sudden death at an address in Ladybrook Lane, Mansfield, at 11.55pm on Sunday.
