Nottingham tram services have provided an explanation after a 'significant issue' halted the service
Nottingham tram services have provided an explanation after a "significant issue" halted their service. Operator NET Trams was displaying information which stated all lines having no service at 6am on Wednesday morning.
Just after 7am the operator updated to say it was now operating a limited service and informed customers that their tickets would be valid on the Nottingham City Transport Yellow, Orange or Navy Lines. NetTram has now explained that the reason for their service issues was due to a 'communication fault' which prevented the operator from speaking to drivers in their tram.
"Passengers can still use their ticket on the bus and trains at this time. We apologise for the inconvenience this morning caused by a communication fault which prevented us speaking to our drivers in their trams."
