Nottingham Forest are close to getting deals over the line for defenders Nuno Tavares and Murillo as deadline day approaches.
A season-long loan deal is on the cards for Arsenal full-back Tavares, while centre-back Murillo will make the move from Corinthians. They are unlikely to be the only new arrivals before the deadline as Forest continue to have a number of irons in the fire. “It’s busy at the moment. There’s some things that could happen, some things that might not and everything in between that,” head coach Steve Cooper said.
“Hopefully I haven’t gone too soon on that, because until things are officially done then you never quite know. There’s a lot of work going on.
