A Notre Dame football signee has been arrested and accused of stealing guns from a central Kentucky business.
Notre Dame football signee Landen Bartleson has been arrested and is facing charges of burglary, criminal mischief and receiving stolen property, according toBartleson, 18, and two unidentified 16-year-old juveniles were taken into custody Friday by Danville, Kentucky, police and are accused of breaking into a Boyle County business and stealing several guns, per the report.
The trio is also linked to a vehicle theft that occurred on the campus of Centre College in Danville. Bartleson is a 6-foot, 181-pound cornerback from nearby Harrodsburg and a standout for Boyle County High School in Danville. The three-star recruit signed with the Irish last month during the early signing window.
He was expected to enroll at Notre Dame in June. Notre Dame officials have declined to comment on whether the arrest will affect his status with the school and the football program.
