NothingPhone2 Goes Through Silent Durability Test
, and already there’s a torture test lined up featuring the device. This comes courtesy of the YouTube channel JerryRigEverything, with Zack Nelson, the person behind the channel, deciding to do it completely silently. Because he apparently has “Nothing 2” say about it, but more likely it’s because it’s trendy to lean in on the punny brand name. Which is strange since these videos are usually full of puns, quips and jokes of their own.
Despite the lack of a monologue, the video goes just about as you’d expect if you’re familiar with the channel. Before the torture test begins in earnest though, the video shows off a few of the preset Glyph ringtones, which makes for a good preview for those who are curious about it. Then the tests begin in earnest, with the screen scratch test yielding the usual result of scratches starting at Mohs hardness level six.
