With how similar many smartphones are these days, we always appreciate seeing something different. The Nothing Phone did this with a transparent back and LED lights, which was a fresh new look. So, what if this feature was replicated on a possible Nothing foldable device?
Based on concept designs by Brandon Paul, the hinge is where Nothing could place LED light bar for a foldable smartphone. Another render showed the Nothing logo lighting up, which isn't as exciting but has a cleaner look. Given the fan name Nothing Fold , the renders show a device with flat sides, rounded corners, and a flat display with minimal bezels. There's also a cover display that seemingly takes up the entire back of the phone.
— Nothing May 1, 2023 It's interesting to note that Nothing shared the original post on its Twitter account. In other words, there's at least one person in the company who found the design appealing. Of course, it doesn't mean that the device will turn out like that. Having said that, the idea of LED lights on the hinge is a pretty cool one. If nothing else, it makes the Nothing Fold different from other foldable phones.
