Sarah Ferguson has shared a major update on her battle with breast and skin cancer and revealed she is “not out of the woods” yet despite her positive prognosis.
Ferguson, 64, underwent a single mastectomy and reconstructive surgery in June last year and later revealed her prognosis was “good”.
Her dermatologist found the melanoma while analysing several moles that were removed during the earlier procedure last June.Following her skin cancer treatment in January, the mother-of-two said that while everything is currently fine, she still can't claim to be"cancer-free". "In such a situation, you certainly face your mortality and it has been somewhat of an annus horribilis. But right now, I feel fit and well.
