“You have like, no husband energy at all—that’s scary,” Morgan says to Sasha, shortly after meeting him and learning he’s married to a woman named Esther . But they eventually bond over being their family’s respective black sheep—though Sasha doesn’t understand why Morgan is one, since she’s “cool as hell,” always has “a witty comeback,” and looks “like a total smoke show.” Later, Morgan confesses to having a sex dream about Sasha.
” It’s clear that they both have an attraction to one another, whether or not it’s a physical or romantic attraction. Or maybe they are just confusing it for that. That’s an interesting thing to explore. Especially as you get older, you don’t make friends as easily, and Sasha’s a little bit later in his life than Morgan. Maybe the lack of clarity is somewhat the point. But I’m sure it’s something that will be explored in season two.
