Police arrested 12 pro-Palestine protesters at Florida universities Monday, including several at the University of Florida that prompted a strong statement from the school.
This is not complicated: The University of Florida is not a daycare, and we do not treat protesters like children,” the college told The National Desk . “They knew the rules, they broke the rules, and they’ll face the consequences.” We just saw multiple violent arrests at the University of Florida Plaza of the Americas,” a protester who referred to himself as “Aron” stated in aposted Monday. “We are requesting that all UF students, anyone in Gainesville, please come out to the Plaza of the Americas right now to protest this violent police repression.”
