A short new teaser for Nosferatu has released ahead of the film hitting theaters next week.
There is just one more week until Robert Eggers' Nosferatu graces our screens, and a creepy new teaser that looks to be a TV spot has surfaced on social media, giving us a preview of the terror that awaits.
Opening with a close-up of Lily-Rose Depp as Ellen Hutter in bed, the familiar voice of Willem Dafoe asks her, 'Tell me what you can from the beginning.'The thirty-second teaser then alternates between pull quotes from critics who shower the film with praise, calling it 'a magnum opus of terror', 'a breathtaking masterpiece', and 'a perfect film in every way' as we cut between haunting images from the film, building to a climax of a blink-and-you'll-miss it glimpse at Bill Skarsgård as Count Orlok, and closing with Dafoe whispering 'Nosferatu'.Nosferatu has wowed early audiences, landing a Certified Fresh rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes, and has become, for many, the final must-watch film of the year.Led by Lily-Rose Depp, Nosferatu is a reimagining of the 1922 German silent horror film of the same name, which took inspiration from Bram Stoker's Dracula.Recently, Bill Skarsgård's Count Orlok voice was revealed in a new clip, something fans have been excited to hear due to the mystery surrounding his character.Count Orlok has been left out of much of the film's marketing, leaving the enigma for fans to discover when they take their seats on Christmas Day at their local theaters.His quick appearance in the new teaser is the shot we've seen in previous previews, so much of the infamous Count's identity is still firmly under lock and key.
