Peacock announced the streaming release date for Robert Eggers ' latest folk horror film, Nosferatu , as February 21st. While the extended cut of the film is available for purchase or rental on the day of love, February 14th, viewers can enjoy it for free on Peacock (with a subscription) starting February 21st.
The film, starring Bill Skarsgård as the titular character Count Orlok, tells the story of Thomas Hutter (Nicholas Hoult), a young man who travels to a remote country to meet Count Orlok, only to discover the Count has sinister intentions for his new wife, Ellen Hutter (Lily-Rose Depp). Nosferatu premiered in theaters on December 25th, 2023, to critical acclaim, earning an 85% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The film has also been a box office success, grossing over $175 million worldwide.
