It appears winning gold at the Paris Olympics is not the only prize contestants are vying for after a Norwegian swimmer turned the humble chocolate muffin into a viral TikTok sensation.

It’s tough to have that many calories if you’re only having salad. Speaking to People magazine, members of America’s men’s gymnastics team confirmed the chocolate sweets, one of 2000 pastry items served daily at the Olympic Village, were superb.“I had my first one this morning … oh my gosh, they’re really good. They’re so gooey,” Brody Malone said.Filipino-American gymnast Aleah Finnegan gave her own review on TikTok: “I understand the hype of these chocolate muffins in the village”.
