Data compiled by researchers at Lancaster University shows the aurora borealis, otherwise known as the Northern Lights, could be visible on the evening of March 24.
The Northern Lights are 'likely' to be visible across Scotland tonight and the Record has compiled a list of exactly where's best to see the phenomenon.
According to the Met Office, a "combination of fast solar winds" and the "recent arrival of a Coronal Mass Ejection from the sun" have made conditions optimum.
