Charlie's Bar Enniskillen has been honoured with a trip prize at the PubAid Community Pub Hero Awards 2024.
The Community Support Hero Award recognises licensees who help their communities and are ‘good neighbours’ to their locals. "When our advert went viral we never in our wildest dreams expected the response that it got. What was more important was to turn a video into actions and we were able to raise £23,000 for local Northern Irish charities.
In addition, they hold year-round events for a number of charities and sponsor a local football tea, and musical theatre group.
