The Met Office forecasters have given their predictions for the weekend ahead
in Belfast saying that it will be a dry start on Saturday, September 16, although a chance of some brief rain in the morning.
It said: "A chilly start in parts of the west, then a bright day with sunny spells. Light winds and feeling pleasant in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 16 °C."Sunday, September 17, when the Belfast Marathon will be taking place in the morning, will likely see a turn in the weather with rain predicted throughout the day, with some dry periods.
The Met Office said: "Thickening cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle pushing in from the south on Sunday."
