AKRON, Ohio — The showers and thunderstorms from Sunday will carry over into the early part of this week, but a change for the better arrives soon.
Monday is shaping up to be another full day of showers and thunderstorms, with strong rain chances from 8 a.m. until evening, and solid chances through the night into Tuesday morning. High temps will be in the upper 70s before dropping to the mid-60s overnight. If it does happen to stop raining, it will be muggy.
The chances for showers and thunderstorms will diminish on Tuesday, which otherwise should have partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Temps will drop to the low 60s overnight with partly cloudy skies. That should be the last of cloudy weather for the rest of the week. Mostly sunny skies arrive Wednesday, and it’s expected to remain clear through the weekend.
As for temperatures, highs are expected to stay in the low 80s beginning Wednesday before climbing to the mid-80s on Sunday.
