CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District invites the community to the 2024 Clean Water Fest, promising a full day of activities, games, food and wastewater treatment plant tours to showcase the work being done to protect the environment.
This year’s Clean Water Fest will take place Sept. 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 4747 E 49th St. in Cleveland. The event will feature a range of attractions including face painting, balloon artistry, live entertainment, crafts and dozens of exhibit booths filled with games and prizes.To learn more about how Southerly Wastewater Treatment Plant is working to protect clean water and preserve public health, walking tours will be available throughout the day.
In addition to the plant tours, the event will offer guided tours of the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District laboratory, an award-winning and state-certified facility.
