Zodiac, a 3-and-a-half-year-old Akita, and his handler, Shirley Graziano of Strongsville, will deploy for four days this Saturday to Logan CountySTRONGSVILLE, Ohio - Six crisis response canines --and seven handlers -- will head to Logan County on Saturday, most staying through Tuesday.
As they have in the past, Graziano’s team plans to visit two family assistance centers, three police departments, and a dispatch center following the disaster. Graziano said the dogs put everyone at ease, allowing them to share their stories and deal with their needs and fears. Logan County is a different place with different circumstances than some of the past trips. But the Crisis Response Canines team have the same mission.
