The northeast monsoon or amihan will continue to affect Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Sunday.The weather bureau said Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon will have cloudy skies with rains.Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains will prevail in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Eastern Visayas, Caraga and Davao Oriental.The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.PAGASA warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains, especially during severe thunderstorms.
