Miranda Richardson runs The Squirrels and The Hart pubs in Duston
A Northamptonshire landlady has appeared on Good Morning Britain giving her thoughts on pint price increases in peak times. and was on the programme last Wednesday .
On the ITV show, consumer expert Harry Wallop argued that it was "really clever" on the firm's part. He said: "They're trying to reduce the crush in a pub at a busy time and encourage you to go to at a quieter time."The outrage is all completely coinfected and if they had put up 20p on the price of a pint across the day in all their pubs no one would have noticed. A pint of beer is not a sacred thing and it's not a life-saving pharmaceutical.
"No one has a problem with a happy hour. We know dynamic pricing happens across the consumer industry in hotels, airlines and online." "Instead of increasing your guests base and your consumer base, you're just going to alienate. They will go once and they won't go back again.
