A new show called 'Embrace Diversity' has been introduced
A Northampton radio station was found to be "not ethnic enough" in its programming after an Ofcom investigation. When it first launched, Embrace Radio was required to deliver "key commitments" in its broadcasts as part of its license.

They said the station manager ensures shows are heavily influenced by musicians like Aretha Franklin, Dionne Warwick and Stevie Wonder among other black artists.
They also said they liaised with the LGBTQ+ community and were "delighted" to regularly prompt their groups. In order to rectify the issue, they have started a new show called "Embrace Diversity" which runs every Wednesday from 7-10pm. "Please be aware that we have worked hard within our community, and with Inspiration FM to understand what we can provide that isn't patronising and can serve in a way that doesn't replicate our Inspiration colleagues.
