A man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl has been sent to prison for six years and given an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order. Floyd Kennedy, 32, of Druids Walk in Didcot, Oxfordshire, assaulted the girl while she was staying at a house in Northampton where he was also staying.
That night, the girl tried unsuccessfully to get one of her friends to swap with her so she could sleep on the sofa rather than the floor - where Kennedy was also planning to sleep. Whilst the other girls slept, Kennedy sexually assaulted the girl again multiple times, leaving her shocked and stressed. She fled to the bathroom for safety. The following day, Kennedy asked the girl repeatedly to promise not to tell anyone what had happened.
In addition to the prison sentences, Kennedy was also issued with an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and Sexual Notice, which prohibits him from having any unsupervised contact with any female child under the age of 16.
