A line of severe storms produced several tornados across North Texas on Monday afternoon.Showers and thunderstorms developed Tuesday afternoon and moved through parts of North Texas. The storms will diminish during the evening. Additional storms are possible Wednesday but they will be spotty and some folks may not see a drop, while others could receive a nice downpour.
Along with the storm chance will be extra cloud cover which will help give us a break from the triple digit heat for a few days. It will be seasonably hot with highs in the mid to upper 90s. Expect the triple digit heat to return this weekend into next week. But take heart, on Monday the normal high temperatures begin to decrease marking the end of the hottest part of summer.WEDNESDAY:: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of isolated thunderstorms. Low: 77.
