According to a news release from the U.S. Department of Justice, a USB drive containing images of child sexual exploitation was left in an Alaska hotel in December 2024, which led to an investigation by the FBI. According to court documents, the USB was traced to Scott Wayne O’Toole, 60, after authorities discovered his tax documents on the thumb drive. According to the release and the court documents, O’Toole was in Alaska while on a temporary duty assignment as a school bus driver.Court records show O’Toole filed an appeal to his sentence Tuesday to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.Matt is a breaking news reporter.
