A North Texas fire chief has reportedly resigned after being arrested in a Lewisville prostitution sting. Highland Village Fire Chief Scott Collier was one of 14 men accused of soliciting prostitution, a state felony, during the operation, according to a news release from the Denton County Sheriff’s Office. The agency carried out the sting on Thursday to “suppress prostitution in our community by arresting offenders attempting purchase of sexual favors for money,” the release says.
Two people killed, six wounded during shooting at Juneteenth event in Round Rock Collier served with the Highland Village Fire Department since 2008, and was promoted from assistant fire chief to fire chief in 2022, FOX 4 reports. His resignation was effective June 15.
