One of the Dallas area’s oldest and best known apartment firms, Lincoln Property Residential, is rebranding with a new name, Willow Bridge Property Co
Lincoln Property Co.’s
decades-old apartment division was purchased by Canadian property firm Cadillac Fairview. The Toronto-based company, which manages property investments for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, previously owned a 49% stake in Lincoln Property’s apartment operations.Lincoln Property’s apartment building operation dates to 1965 when it was founded by developers Trammell Crow and Mack Pogue.The builder has developed more than 200,000 U.S. rental units across the country.
“We have a proud history, a passionate team, decades of experience and a track record of delivering results, so it was important to choose a new name that speaks to that history,” Willow Bridge CEO Duncan Osborne said in a statement. “The first property we built was named after the willow tree, and the willow tree has since served internally as a symbol of the growth and strength of our company.”“We have ambitious growth plans for our future,” Osborne said.
