SHAH ALAM: The top three police districts in Selangor where people have been issued RM1,000 compound notices for defying the movement control order (MCO) are North and South Klang, as well Serdang.

Selangor police Covid-19 special spokesman Asst Comm Muhammad Yazid Muhammad Yew said a total of 109 compound notices were issued in North Klang, followed by 108 in South Klang and 100 in Serdang.

"Based on our observations now, the rate of obeying the MCO in Selangor is at 92%," he told reporters at the Selangor police headquarters here Monday ."We have set up 98 MCO roadblocks in Selangor within the last 24 hours. He said since the MCO was introduced, they have opened 837 investigation papers and arrested 1,730 individuals for defying it.
