North Shore senior cornerback Jacoby Davis verbally committed to Kansas on Sunday morning, making the announcement on Twitter.
Davis is a three-star recruit and the No. 83 cornerback prospect in the country, according to 247Sports. After a recent official visit to Lawrence, he chose the Jayhawks over Texas A&M, Georgia, Michigan, Houston and Baylor, among others. Davis was a first-team All-Greater Houston selection as a senior after helping North Shore reach the Class 6A Division I state championship game. He finished with 42 tackles , five tackles for loss, five interceptions, 16 pass breakups and two defensive touchdowns.
