Neighbors in north Seattle are on edge after two shootings occurred on their block just days apart.
The first happened around 1 a.m. on Oct. 19 near Interlake and 110th. Then, on Oct. 22, around midnight, neighbors reported hearing a barrage of gunfire again. No one was injured in either of those shootings, but some residents here are afraid the shooter might come back again.
Neighbors believe the shootings were targeted at one home on the block. The first shooting damaged the front of the home and a vehicle parked outside. “The police got here, and when they were counting up the casings, they said it was over 30 gunshots,” one neighbor said.Neighbors said the people who lived at the house believed to be targeted left the night of the first shooting and quickly moved out before the second shooting.
