SEATTLE — One person was hurt and taken to hospital following a hit-and-run in North Seattle Monday afternoon, according to police. Seattle police and fire crew confirmed that a black Range Rover SUV collided with a parked vehicle and a bystander was struck.
The bystander was a 44-year-old man, who was a construction worker on a job site. He was taken to hospital in stable condition, and the driver of the Range Rover ran off.According to the Seattle Department of Transportation, the collision on Greenwood Avenue North, just south of 115th Street, blocked all southbound lanes in Seattle’s Broadview neighborhood. Drivers were asked to use alternative routes around 4:45 p.m. According to SPD, the suspect was not found and no arrests had been made as of 6 p.m. on Monday.
