Our community deserves a fresh perspective, and it’s time for new leadership to guide us towards a brighter future. I’ve proudly called North Royalton home for nearly a decade, and my deep-rooted love for this community drives my decision to run for mayor. I’m not a career politician and I never aspire to be one. Instead, I’m motivated by a genuine desire to enhance the lives of our residents, families and businesses. Local government should be a pillar of inclusivity, actively engaging with our community, listening to residents’ ideas and addressing their needs promptly and effectively. I believe in fostering an environment where every voice matters and where our residents feel heard. North Royalton deserves to shine alongside other thriving communities, not lag behind them. I envision a city where residents don’t need to venture elsewhere to shop, dine or enjoy life’s amenities. Together, we can create a vibrant, self-sustaining community that attracts residents and businesses alike. My commitment goes beyond mere words. I pledge to root out wasteful spending and halt unnecessary local tax increases. Our town’s financial health is essential and I’ll work tirelessly to ensure fiscal responsibility while preserving essential services. For too long, our city has been under the influence of the same groups and the same ideas. It’s clear that we need a change, a fresh start.1. Safety First: The safety and security of our community are paramount. To achieve this, we must commit to fully funding our police and fire departments, ensuring that our neighborhoods are protected by well-equipped and well-trained first responders. Collaborative efforts with our Wastewater and Service departments will not only keep jobs local but also maintain the city’s infrastructure efficiently. Moreover, we must strengthen our partnership with our schools to keep harmful influences likes drugs at bay, providing our children with a safe and nurturing educational environment.Families are the heart of our city, and our recreational facilities should reflect that. I’ve personally observed the disparities between our amenities and those of neighboring communities. It’s time to modernize our recreational facilities, ensuring our youth have access to topnotch programs. Simultaneously, we must invest in senior programs that enhance the quality of life for our elder residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging.Royalton Road/ Route 82 holds enormous potential as our city center. We need to have a comprehensive, forward-thinking plan for its improvement. Collaboration with property owners and businesses will be instrumental in transforming this area into a vibrant hub that showcases out city’s essence. Together, we will reinvigorate North Royalton’s heart, attracting commerce and community engagement. If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
