The carnival, running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featured a wide array of activities designed to entertain and engage attendees of all ages. Moms and dads had their hands full introducing their little ones to the variety of animals at the petting zoo at the North Ridgeville Library.“In addition to having a petting zoo visit from Spring Mist Farms, they brought 18 animals with them that included a variety of goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and even a miniature cow,” said Anne Godec, the library’s branch manager.
“Our whole carnival day was about fun for the whole family, but the petting zoo in particular was a great way for children to learn about and interact with animals for which they may not normally have the opportunity,” Godec said.
