For Brian Miles, his annual remembrance is more than just a tribute. For him, it’s personal.
NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio - Rush hour at Route 83 and Center Ridge Road featured a yearly tradition Wednesday morning to remember the victims of 9/11 .
What happened more than two decades ago has prompted Miles, his mother, and others like Bob Gardner to hold flags and display their makeshift memorial for the past ten years. Fireman, policemen, and other first responders as well as civilians -- almost three thousand lives lost in New York, Washington DC, and Pennsylvania.
