A North Richland Hills man is in custody after police say he barricaded himself inside a home and fired a gun multiple times.
Officers were called around 1:30 p.m. Thursday to the 7800 block of Mockingbird Lane about a shooting. The person who called 911 said that a man inside the home shot a gun multiple times, police said. The people inside the house were able to leave and were not injured. It’s unclear how many people were in the home at the time.
A SWAT team responded and was able to convince the man to exit the house after “careful negotiations,” police said.No other details were made available..
