On Friday and Saturday, Oct. 27 and 28, a training facility at the North Pole Fire Station will serve as a house of scares, courtesy of students at North Pole High School.
FAIRBANKS, Alaska - North Pole is where the spirit of Christmas lives year-round, but this weekend, a group of local high schoolers are bringing a dose of Halloween spirit to the community.
A group of around 40 seniors have worked for the last two or three weeks to transform the building into a multi-room Halloween event for the community. The haunted house acts as a fundraiser for the senior class, with proceeds used to fund the prom, as well as Senior Ball and Grad Bash.
