18–21. The contest criteria includes creativity, use of theme, placement of decorations and overall experience.Lakewood’s Cram The Cruiser: The Lakewood police department is hosting Cram The Cruiser, which is a community-wide donation challenge. Each of Lakewood’s four wards will compete for bragging rights to see who can fill their ward’s police vehicle with the most canned and non-perishable food items, plus personal care and hygiene products.The North Olmsted VFW Post 7647 hosted its annual Police Officer and Firefighter of the Year Awards Banquet. North Olmsted Police Chief Bob Wagner, Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and Fire Chief Ed Schepp. Mayor Dailey Jones, Safety Director Jennifer Scofield, Fire Chief Ed Schepp and Police Chief Bob Wagner were in attendance. “It’s always an honor to attend the event on behalf of the city,” Jones said. “The VFW does a great job hosting the event each year.
