Two missiles were launched from North Korea’s west coast, splashing into the waters between South Korea and Japan
SEOUL—North Korea launched two short-range ballistic missiles Tuesday morning, Seoul officials said, the latest weapons test to challenge both the U.S. positioning in stalled nuclear negotiations and its tolerance for such provocations.
Pyongyang’s latest weapons test represents its fourth in 13 days. The missiles were launched from the North’s South Hwanghae province, on the country’s west coast, before splashing into the waters between South Korea and Japan, Seoul’s military said.
