North Korea crisis: Kim Jong-un bracing as huge typhoon to smash capital in just hours

NORTH KOREA is bracing for a massive record-breaking typhoon to make landfall on Kim Jong-un's hermit kingdom on Thursday.

An expert at the Korea Meteorological Administration , based in Seoul, said Typhoon Bavi is likely to smash a record when it rolls into the region. His warning comes after Kim appeared at a party meeting where he warned authorities to prepare for the worst.Woo Jin-kyu, a researcher at the weather agency, said:"Bavi is forecast to break a record among typhoons that passed through the Yellow Sea.
