North Bergen man knocked victim to ground, then went back for more: Guttenberg police

A North Bergen man knocked another man to the ground with repeated blows to the face and then returned to stomp on his head Thursday afternoon in the area of 70th Street and Bergenline Avenue, authorities said.

Jazzy Vasquez, 26, was arrested when he tried to flee on foot after the 12:41 p.m. incident, Guttenberg Lt. Aleksandar Ramadanovic said. Vasquez was charged with aggravated assault, endangering an injured victim, obstructing the administration of law and disorderly conduct. He was taken to the Hudson County jail to await his initial court appearance.
