If you’re late to the party, the story follows teenagers Connell and Marianne, played by Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones, who spend their teens and early adulthood falling in and out of a relationship. The sizzling chemistry, combined with the way the show deals with sexual consent and mental health, makes the show equal parts passionate and poignant.
Surprisingly, the series is leading man Paul’s first television gig, and it’s sure to be the first of many big roles for the 24 year old talented actor. Not only has he become the nation’s newest crush, but even the chain his character wears on screen has its own Instagram account with 30,000 followers and counting!
