CBS Evening News anchor and managing editor Norah O’Donnell has announced that she will step down from the anchor desk after election day to take on a new role at the network.“We just celebrated an amazing five years together. I love what I do, and I am so fortunate to work with the best journalists and people in the business. Together, our team has won Emmy, Murrow and DuPont awards.
“Wendy McMahon, president and CEO of CBS News & Stations and CBS Media Ventures, said O’Donnell’s new role will enable her to do more storytelling and big interviews. Those stories will appear on various CBS News programs and on Paramount+, McMahon said. You can watch Norah O’Donnell on the CBS Evening News, which airs weekday afternoons at 5:30PM on Action 8.
