Utilizing satellites, radar and jet fighters, the North American Aerospace Defense Command is making sure Santa Claus makes it safe to his destinations.

Santa Claus, also known as Kris Kringle or Saint Nicholas, began his trek around the world bright and early at 5 a.m. San Antonio time on Christmas Eve. The agency that monitors the aerospace and defenses for the United States and Canada began tracking Santa’s every move in 1958, according to its website.
