– “We had wanted to do 63 this year, so we were able to beat that goal by one. So we’re just so blessed that the San Antonio community is involved and has helped us out”, said Habitat for Humanity of San Antonio’s Vice President Stephanie Wiese. Each family moving into a house must put in at least 300 hours of “sweat equity” and attend home ownership education meetings.

The three-four bedroom, two bath, 1300 square feet homes are meant to be a sustainable base for families in the area.
