A new resource center and housing could soon be available for homeless individuals in the city of Mobile.NBC 15 News at 6
The Mobile City Council will consider an ordinance that would authorize the sale of a large vacant property on Shelton Beach Road Extension to a nonprofit organization.
“We'll bring them to the resource center, where they will be able to come Monday through Friday to get some help with workforce development, financial literacy, and help with mental illness and wellness. Also, workforce development on learning how to get job skills, whether it is if they have a literacy problem with colors or numbers, we can train them in that way,” Monique Rogers, founder of the Rain Group.
