Veterans in Park City donned leather and revved up their motorcycles to honor those who lost their lives defending the country by celebrating the 10-year annive

“You have a community of people that love you and support you that are going through the same things; it's life-changing," said Denver Braa, a member of the Veteran's Charity Ride.“A majority of veterans in the profession have PTSD and say the two things they lose are purpose and trust. They say this program helps them move forward,” said David Maxwell, another member.
“We know how healing it is for us to be on the open road being in command of that machine — and to be in command of it safely, you need to be in the present moment," Frey said. He said motorcycle therapy rides offer an escape from the past — a space for veterans to come together not just for the ride but for the support.
“You're not alone," Maxwell said. "Know that you can move beyond what happened and be able to connect with good people to be in the present moment and to know that you can be an active member of society."
