Non-pensionable soldiers urged to register with veterans’ department

Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob has urged non-pensionable armed forces veterans to register themselves with the Veterans’ Affairs Department to receive the Prihatin economic aid. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, June 19, 2020.

NON-PENSIONABLE Malaysian armed forces veterans who have yet to register with the MAF Veterans’ Affairs Department are urged to do so to facilitate channeling of necessary aid and assistance to them. Defence Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said there are about 100,000 non-pensionable veterans, of which only 70,000 of them have registered with the department.
