Viewers instantly liked the pilot episode of KBYN that aired on April 10 before TV Patrol Weekend on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, TeleRadyo, ABS-CBN News , and A2Z. One of the first stories Kabayan highlighted was about Joana Sisracon, a fire survivor who is now an inspiring Tiktok influencer and a social media ambassador of a local cosmetics company.
Kabayan also visited hog raisers in Barangay San Isidro in Cuenca Batangas who are experiencing the pains brought by several misfortunes, including the spread of AFS among their livestock. Other featured stories include the Aeta community of Zambales who are doing their best to continue their studies in the middle of the pandemic, and the story of Gizelle Obidao, a ‘dog yaya’ of 50 different breeds of dogs. On the show’s second episode on April 17, Kabayan put the spotlight on jeepney drivers turned computer table makers and on aspiring P-Pop idols training under the meticulous eye of the SBTalent Camp, the team behind the successful P-Pop group, SB19.
Watch for more stories that will bring inspiration and hope featuring Filipinos that overcome challenges and help other people regardless of their situations in life in KBYN: Kaagapay ng Bayan, every Sunday at 5:00 p.m. before TV Patrol Weekend.
