Star third baseman Nolan Arenado reportedly is willing to accept a trade to teams other than the Boston Red Sox.
Another day, another addition to the mounting pile of Nolan Arenado trade rumors.Recent reports indicated Arenado, whose contract includes a no-trade clause, wanted to force a trade to Boston, his preferred destination. And perhaps the St. Louis Cardinals third baseman remains committed to joining the Red Sox.However, on Thursday, MLB Network's Jon Morosi reported Arenado now is willing to waive his no-trade clause for other teams, including the Tigers and Mariners.
Arenado is at least open-minded to places like Detroit or Seattle, in a way that he might not have been a month ago when more options were there in front of him.'Boston is still probably at the top of the list -- competitive team, a great place to hit, his swing would play really well there. I'm told in the last 24 hours that Boston is not the only team Arenado is willing to waive his no-trade clause for.
