Nograles: Isolation facilities at prisons ready in case inmates contract COVID19
MANILA--Steps are being taken to ensure the safety of inmates at correctional facilities amid the spread of COVID-19, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles said on Saturday.
"Bawat BJMP facility merong prepared isolation facility. If ever may indications, symptoms alam ng BJMP personnel kung ano gagawin. Isolate agad. BuCor ganu'n din," Nograles said. BJMP medical chief Dr. John Paul Borlongan also made an appeal to the national government and the public on Friday for supplies of personal protective equipment.
